How to launch a gig
A gig is a job post. Use it when you need people on an ongoing basis rather than one-off posts.
Step by step
- 1
Open Gigs and start the three-step form. Step one is the role.
- 2
Pick the content format: UGC, Clips, Talking head, or Raids. For talking head, the creator's face and voice are the point.
- 3
Choose the account they post on. A dedicated account means they set one up just for you. Their own account means you borrow the following they already have on Instagram and TikTok.
- 4
Step two is the work. Write the brief — this is the highest-leverage thing on the page, and it is what a creator reads before deciding whether to apply.
- 5
Say what they are expected to post and how often, for example three to five videos a week, then set the rate and any performance bonus tied to results.
- 6
Step three is screening questions. Ask what you actually need to know before a call.
- 7
Create a tag for the gig, then decide whether it appears on the public Gigs page or is marked Unlisted.
- 8
As applications arrive, click a creator to open a side panel with their best performing video and why it worked. Attach your tag to the ones you want.
